Ahnvee Grand Opening

Dusk fades to night, a new magic emerges at 621 Washington Avenue.  Ahnvee  restaurant and lounge has its grand opening.  Owners Al Boatwright and Brionne Gillion bring an authentic New Orleans style supper club experience to South Beach. Corseted hostesses guide diners and loungers through the former Club Deep space into the stunning interior of  Italian chandeliers,  wrought iron rails, and hardwood floors. The menu befits the surrounding backdrop scenes of downtown New Orleans and Lake Pontchartrain,   Patrons seated in the dining area or high-backed privacy booths absorb the artful , sultry sty lings of Suga,  This destination where intimacy  envelopes privacy is purposeful to the creative and artistic spirit.

Resident DJ and music director, Todd Stylez furnished six DJ’s, along with the backbeat of a conga drummer.  Lounge patrons also enjoyed Brazilian style dancing on the stage followed by fire dancing.  The young and young at heart flavors that fuel Miami mingle freely.  No SoBe hype here. Frosted cut glass panes set within carved wood walls highlighted by glitter paint connect separate yet equally sensual experiences.

Local artist Andrew Reid and designer Eva Danielle add their touch as evidenced by the main stage mural and corsets worn by the hostesses. The furnishings are purpose built to the smallest details including the swivel table in the cognac room facing Washington Avenue. Ahnvee is a place to hide, yet not be lost.  Whether you come to dine, chill or soak in the entertainment, a unique experience awaits.
